We are delighted to announce that we have successfully achieved ISO 9001 certification, a globally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). This follows our previous attainment of ISO 27001 certification, reinforcing our commitment to both quality and information security.
What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely recognised quality management standard. It sets out the criteria for a Quality Management System (QMS) and is based on a number of quality management principles, including strong customer focus, leadership, process approach, and continual improvement. Achieving this certification demonstrates that HCS has robust processes in place to consistently deliver high-quality services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Why is ISO 9001 Important for Our Customers?
For our customers, ISO 9001 certification means:
- Consistent Quality: We adhere to internationally recognised standards to ensure a high level of service.
- Continuous Improvement: Our processes are continually reviewed and refined to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Increased Trust & Reliability: Certification reinforces our reputation as a reliable IT solutions provider that operates with transparency and accountability.
Building on Our ISO 27001 Success
In 2022 we achieved ISO 27001 certification, which focuses on information security management. By adding ISO 9001 to our credentials, we are demonstrating that HCS is not only committed to protecting client data but also to maintaining the highest standards in service delivery.
A huge thanks to the team that worked on this project which included the design and development of our own Quality Management System.
“Achieving ISO 9001 certification is a testament to our dedication to delivering the highest standards of quality. By developing our own in-house Quality Management System, we have created a framework that not only ensures excellence in our services today but also allows us to continuously manage and maintain these high standards and ISO compliance into the future. “– Sean Hegarty, Head of Operations.
