HCS is 30 years old this year! To mark this milestone we held a birthday party and welcomed back some old faces – the original founders Oliver Hegarty and his wife Pat, parents to our 2 Directors Sean and Dan.
HCS prides itself on its family-run roots, which continue to shape our values and ethos. This strong foundation fosters a close-knit internal culture and a deep commitment to our customers, whom we greatly value and consider part of our extended family.
Over those early years further family members joined in the fun! Along with Sean and Dan younger brother Matthew also became a HCSer! Along with a good family friend Matt Rudge. As Oliver stepped down to enjoy retirement the business continued to grow rapidly and in 2003 Neil Phelan joined and when Matt moved on to pastures new Neil stepped in as Director forging a close and long standing relationship with his fellow Directors and they remain a trio to this day.
In 2007, the business moved from Carrick-on-Suir to a brand-new, purpose-built premises in the Cleaboy Business Park in Waterford, where HCS has continued to grow and thrive, opening additional offices in Dublin in 2009 and Cork in 2019.
Today HCS employs 50 people across our 3 locations. Our employees are our most valued asset and we thank them for their ongoing commitment to the business.
HCS has a varied customer base and several long standing customers who have been with us since the beginning. We thank them and all our customers for their support and loyalty over the years.
We all look forward to what the future brings as technology continues to rapidly change and advance.
