HCS Jump for Charity

HCS Business Solutions IT operations staff have recently successfully completed a charity skydive for Radiotherapy Unit at Waterford Regional Hospital.

Sean Hegarty, Head of IT Operations, and Microsoft Certified IT support engineers Mark Power, Aiden Ryan and Luis Marques completed the jump this weekend.

The jumps, from 10,000 feet took place over County Tipperary from Skydive Ireland in Nenagh.

Luis Marques, Microsoft Certified IT Support Engineer getting ready to land in Nenagh, Co Tipperary Sean Hegarty commented after his landing, “I’d like to thank Helena for organising everything, and to Aiden, Mark & Luis for taking part, most of us were first time skydivers but any apprehension was countered by the knowledge that we were jumping for a very worthy cause in WRH Radiotherapy Unit.” “A special thanks to all who sponsored us and to those who made the trip to support us on the day. I ‘d definitely recommend a Skydive to anyone, for a first timer it’s actually more of a mental challenge than a physical one.”
