HCS provides Outsourced IT Services, IT Systems Upgrades, Software Development, Managed Telecoms and Microsoft Cloud Services to businesses across Ireland. HCS Business Solutions are Microsoft Gold Partners and we specialise in delivering Microsoft Cloud Services such as Office 365, SharePoint, Azure and Microsoft’s Unified Communications solution Skype for Business. In 2014 HCS’s expertise was officially recognised amongst an elite group of Microsoft Global Partner of the Year Companies.

Meet The Management Team
Neil Phelan joined HCS in 2003 and became a director in 2004. With over 15 years experience in the IT industry, Neil has worked for large organisations in Ireland and abroad, including FBD Insurances, Softbank, Eurokom and Optus (Australia). Prior to joining HCS, he was IT Manager at Zomax Incorporated, an internationally leading outsource service provider, where he managed the IT support services delivery of projects for major corporations such as Microsoft, Novell and HP/Compaq, Aer Lingus and NTL. Neil holds a Diploma in Management Information Systems and a Diploma in Sales Management. In February 2009, Neil was appointed Managing Director of HCS.
Sean Hegarty, one of the founding members of the Company in 1998, returned from the UK after 12 years where he worked in the National Health Service and then the Essex Police Service as a “Bobby” on the beat. Since that time Sean has built up a very successful company with an extensive customer base. Sean has over 15 years of business management experience and during that time has worked in all main functions across the business. Sean focuses on operations management and process innovation and ensuring that the Company consistently delivers high levels of service to its customers. Sean holds a Higher National Diploma in Business & Finance, a Degree in Law with Business and an MSc in Technology Management.
Dan Hegarty co-founded HCS in 1998 and before that Hegarty Computer Services from 1994. Up until 2003, Dan worked in an engineering and operational role within the company, before moving into sales consultancy in 2004. Having forged relationships spanning up to 15 years with many HCS clients, Dan actively manages many of the major accounts. He keeps at the forefront of new technologies and has many personal accreditations including: VMware VSP, Microsoft MCP, Citrix Sales Professional, Wireless CWTS, Mobotix Basic and Advanced, Structured Cabling Solutions CAT6 & Fibre to name a few. Combining his technical background and experience with up to date technologies, Dan advises potential customers on coherent, appropriate and practical solutions for their business.
